Our Story

Peace In Any Language.com T-shirts is owned and operated by Bill and Kim Procko.  We are the desperate parents of a little boy who suffers from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  Our story began two years ago when we learned that our 4 year old son ,Evan, would only survive to his late teens or early twenties.  He was playing and laughing hysterically with his older brother in his room while we stared at the black & white diagnosis.  Rather than accept this fate,
we made a decision to take action.  Taking action is the only way to change the future.  The science is in place to cure him.  Funding of that science... is lacking.  We have turned to fund raising for a cure of this horrible monster, which is slowly destroying Evan's muscle tissue, starting with his legs and ending with his precious little heart.  We have documented our ongoing fund raising efforts at www.SaveOurSon.org.

Recently, research donations have declined with the economy,  causing us panic.  Research is the life line to our dreams for Evan.  We live in uncertain times.  If everyone felt secure, perhaps the focus of the majority would shift to helping others.  We believe  the suggestion of "peace" is powerful and could change the world.  What would the world be like with everyone making "peace" their cause?    What better way to suggest peace than by wearing the word "peace" in any language on a t-shirt? Taking action is the only way to change the future.  Peace In Any Language was created to change the future.  "Peace" means many things... free from turmoil, anxiety and war....free from Duchenne.

A portion of every t-shirt sale will go towards funding a cure for Duchenne and Evan's uncertain but medically hopeful future.
We  have personally designed, printed and packaged each shirt... for the love of peace, for the love of  our son, and for the love of 20,000 little boys born each year with Duchenne, who are waiting with their parents right now, for a cure.
